Welcome to DanceWorks

DanceWorks New York City is the city's largest performance-based dance organization for trained dancers (18+) who want to continue choreographing and performing after college and into their adult life.

DanceWorks, with affiliates in both Boston & New York City, exploded onto the Manhattan dance scene in 2011. A collective of more than 70 young adults, our dancers have experience choreographing and performing with their respective studios, college dance teams, and companies. Selling out shows twice a year, DanceWorks is the elite performance company for the otherwise working professional.

The company, compiled of both men and women, is geared toward the advanced & technically trained dancer. Featuring original works that blend high energy hip-hop, jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical and contemporary, the DanceWorks New York City Project is held at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts and attracts over 600 spectators every May and November. The show is a jam-packed, two-hour long production that is anything but your typical dance recital.

Dancers of all backgrounds living within the greater NYC region are encouraged to register every spring and fall.
